I called on Yahweh in distress, and Yahweh answered me
and set me in a broad place.
Yahweh is on my side; I will not fear what man could do
to me. Yahweh is for me among those who help me;
therefore, I shall see my desire on those who hate me.
It is better to trust in Yahweh than to trust in man.
It is better to trust in Yahweh than to trust in princes.

Desde la angustia invoqué a Jahwéh, y me respondió
Jahwéh, poniéndome en lugar espacioso.
Jahwéh está conmigo; no temeré lo que me pueda hacer
el hombre. Jahwéh está conmigo entre los que me ayudan;
por tanto, yo veré mi deseo en los que me aborrecen.
Mejor es confiar en Jahwéh que confiar en el hombre.
Mejor es confiar en Jahwéh que confiar en príncipes.
